RESPONSIBILITIES

The overall task of the architect strategist is to promote a cohesive and shared holistic view regarding the municipality's comprehensive planning and community planning. This requires tasks such as project management in the municipality's work with strategic planning issues in comprehensive planning and other strategic urban development projects. The responsibilities also include being involved and leading efforts to develop various steering documents, vision programs, and planning programs that will serve as a basis for decision-making in planning and building processes. A central role is also to ensure that the visions and goals developed are realized in a long-term, holistic, and sustainable manner in dialogue with residents, businesses, associations, authorities, and other municipalities. The architect strategist should also lead the municipality's future vision regarding design and architectural issues and be involved in building permit and detailed planning processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic background in the field, such as planning architect, architect, building conservationist, or urban planner. We value experience in one or more of the following areas:

• physical planning at the municipal or regional level,
• strategic planning or architecture,
• digiatalization of comprehensive plans
